Opening ChefBot
ChefBot runs inside ChatGPT and needs a ChatGPT account. Open ChefBot in ChatGPT, or search for "ChefBot" in the ChatGPT plugin directory. Whether a plugin can be used on your plan, region or workspace is decided by OpenAI, not by us.
Common questions
Does ChefBot remember my recipes or preferences?
No. ChefBot has no accounts and keeps nothing between conversations. Within one conversation it keeps track of what you have told it. To keep a recipe, ask for a recipe card and save or print it, or use ChatGPT's own features.
Can I trust its food-safety figures?
ChefBot gives the UK Food Standards Agency figures, with the US Department of Agriculture figures where they differ, from a fixed reference table. It still relies on a language model to apply them, so treat its answers as a careful cook's guidance, not a substitute for a thermometer or official advice. When in doubt, throw it out.
Is a recipe safe for my allergy?
ChefBot can adapt recipes and will flag hidden sources of the regulated allergens, but it never promises a dish is allergen-free. Read the labels on packaged items and consider cross-contact in your own kitchen. For a diagnosed allergy, follow the advice of your clinician.
It gave me a wrong quantity or temperature.
Please tell us, with the conversation text, so we can fix the instructions. Scaling and conversions are done by a script where ChatGPT has a Python tool; where it does not, the model follows the same rules by hand and can make mistakes.
Can I use ChefBot commercially, or in my restaurant?
You can cook from its recipes. Redistributing its instructions or presenting its output as professional food-safety or nutrition advice is not permitted; see the terms.
How do I delete my data?
NeuralTake holds none, so there is nothing for us to delete. Your conversations are stored by OpenAI under your ChatGPT account; delete them from ChatGPT's history or data controls.
Reporting a security or policy concern
